- Place the watermelon chunks into a large mixing bowl.
- Use a muddler or sturdy spoon to mash the watermelon vigorously for about 1-2 minutes, until the juice begins to release and the mixture becomes pulpy with some chunks remaining visible.
- Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and honey to the mashed watermelon. Stir well until the honey dissolves completely and all ingredients are combined, producing a vibrant pink liquid with pulp suspended throughout.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the watermelon mixture over the ice, allowing the pulp and liquid to flow into each glass for a colorful, chunky appearance.
- Serve immediately with a straw or spoon to enjoy the combination of refreshing liquid and chunky pulp, with condensation on the glasses indicating cold temperature.
Notes
For a smoother drink, strain out some pulp if preferred. Adjust sweetness with more honey as desired. Can be garnished with lemon slices or mint leaves.
