Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups watermelon, cubed seedless or de-seeded
  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup optional, for added sweetness
  • 1 pinch salt enhances flavor

Method
 

  1. Use a knife and cutting board to cut the watermelon into small cubes, removing any seeds if necessary.
    4 cups watermelon, cubed
  2. Place the watermelon cubes into a blender, add honey and a pinch of salt, then blend until smooth and uniform in texture, about 30 seconds. The mixture should be bright red and slightly frothy.

  3. Pour the blended watermelon mixture into popsicle molds or small disposable cups, filling each about 3/4 full. Insert sticks or reusable handles into each mold.

  4. Place the molds in the freezer on a level surface and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until completely solid and firm to the touch.
  5. Once frozen, remove the Pops from the molds by running warm water briefly over the outside or gently pulling the sticks. Serve immediately, revealing the icy, crackling texture and vibrant red color.
