Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) or set your toaster to medium-high heat.
  2. Slice the baguette into ½-inch thick slices.

  4. While the bread toasts, chop the tomatoes and place them in a bowl.
  5. Mince the garlic and add it to the bowl with the tomatoes.
  6. Drizzle the olive oil over the tomatoes and mix well.

  8. Chop the fresh basil and stir it into the tomato mixture.
  9. Once the baguette slices are toasted, remove them from the oven.
