Ingredients

Method
 

  1. Pour red wine into a medium saucepan.
  2. Add sliced orange pieces to the pot.
  3. Drop in whole cinnamon sticks.
  4. Add whole cloves evenly.
  5. Sprinkle ground nutmeg over the mixture.
  6. Stir in honey or sugar gently.
  7. Place saucepan on low heat.
  8. Allow wine to warm without boiling.
  9. Stir occasionally to blend flavors.
  10. Simmer gently for 10–15 minutes until aromatic.
  11. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  12. Ladle into mugs and serve warm.

Notes

Adjust sweetness by adding more honey or sugar according to taste. For a stronger spice profile, add more cloves or nutmeg during simmering.
