- Add milk to a saucepan over medium heat.

- Add pumpkin puree once oats begin to soften.
- Sprinkle in cinnamon and ground ginger.

- Stir in maple syrup or honey.
- Adjust consistency with extra milk if needed.
- Cook until creamy and fully heated.
- Remove from heat and let rest briefly.
- If oatmeal thickens too much after resting, stir in warm milk to restore creamy consistency.
- Transfer oatmeal to serving bowls.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
Notes
