  • 4 cups watermelon seedless and cubed
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves roughly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional for added sweetness

Equipment

  • Chef's knife
  • Cutting board
  • Large mixing bowl

Method

  1. Wash and prepare the peaches by pitting and slicing them into thin wedges. Cut the watermelon into bite-sized cubes, removing any seeds if necessary. Place all sliced fruit into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add the chopped fresh mint leaves to the bowl of sliced fruit, distributing evenly.
  3. If desired, drizzle the honey over the fruit mixture, then gently toss everything together using a large spoon to combine the flavors and coat the fruit evenly.
  4. Refrigerate the salad for at least 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the dish to chill thoroughly.
  5. Serve the salad cold in individual bowls or on a platter, garnished with additional mint leaves if desired, ensuring the fruits appear juicy and colorful.
