  • Small skewers or toothpicks

Method

  1. Thread a cherry tomato, a basil leaf, and a mozzarella ball onto each skewer, creating a colorful, layered pattern.
  2. Mix olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper in a small bowl until well combined; this will be your brushing mixture.
  3. Use a basting brush to generously coat each assembled skewer with the olive oil and balsamic mixture, ensuring all sides are covered.
  4. Preheat your grill or broiler to medium-high heat, about 200°C (390°F), until hot and ready.
  5. Place the skewers on the grill or under the broiler, cooking for 2-3 minutes until the cheese begins to soften and basil leaves char slightly, releasing fragrant aromas.
  6. Remove the skewers from heat and transfer to a serving platter.
  7. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the skewers for a glossy, sweet finish that enhances their visual appeal and flavor.
  8. Serve immediately while warm and enjoy the delightful combination of smoky, fresh, and tangy flavors in every bite.
