Ingredients

  • 1 cup cranberry juice bright and tart, acts as the base flavor
  • 1 cup sparkling water plain or flavored for extra zing
  • 2 tbsp honey to make honey syrup
  • 3 tbsp water for honey syrup
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice adds acidity and brightness
  • 1 bunch fresh mint for garnish and aroma
  • 1 fruit citrus slices for garnish

Equipment

  • Large pitcher
  • Measuring jigger or cups
  • Bar spoon or stirrer
  • Ice bucket and tongs
  • Glasses and garnishes

Method

  1. Combine honey and water in a small saucepan and heat over low, stirring until the honey dissolves completely to form a syrup. Let it cool slightly.
  2. Pour the cranberry juice into a large pitcher. Stir in the cooled honey syrup and lemon juice until well combined, creating a vibrant, fragrant base.
  3. Fill glasses with ice using tongs, creating a chilled base for each drink.
  4. Pour the cranberry mixture over the ice, filling each glass about three-quarters full to leave room for bubbles and garnishes.
  5. Top each glass with sparkling water, pouring gently to preserve the bubbles and create a lively fizziness.
  6. Garnish with fresh mint sprigs and slices of citrus or berries for a burst of color and aroma. Lightly press the herbs to release their fragrant oils.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy the sparkling, zesty refreshment with friends or family, watching the bubbles dance and the colors brighten.
