Ingredients

  • 1 cup Ice crushed or cubed
  • 1.5 oz vodka good quality
  • 2 oz cranberry juice unsweetened or lightly sweetened
  • 0.5 piece lime for fresh juice
  • 4 oz ginger beer fizzy and spicy
  • handful fresh cranberries for garnish
  • 1 sprig mint for garnish

Equipment

  • Copper Mug
  • Jigger or Measuring Shot Glass
  • Lime Squeezer
  • Long Spoon or Stirrer
  • Strainer (optional)

Method

  1. Chill your copper mug in the freezer for about 10 minutes to keep the drink icy cold.
  2. Fill the mug generously with ice, creating a frosty base for the cocktail.
  3. Pour in 1.5 ounces of vodka, ensuring a smooth, neutral foundation for the flavors.
  4. Add 2 ounces of cranberry juice, giving the drink a tart, festive hue.
  5. Squeeze the juice of half a lime into the mug, then drop the wedge in to infuse brightness and zesty aroma.
  6. Top off the drink with about 4 ounces of ginger beer, watching the bubbles fizz and rise, creating a lively sparkle.
  7. Gently stir the mixture with a long spoon or stirrer, blending the flavors without losing the carbonation.
  8. Garnish with a handful of fresh cranberries and a sprig of mint for a colorful, aromatic finishing touch.
  9. Taste the drink and, if desired, add a splash of simple syrup to mellow the tartness.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy the crisp, tangy sparkle of your Cranberry Moscow Mule.
