Method
 

  1. Fill a saucepan with the measured water.
  2. Slice apples thinly and add to the pot.
  3. Add whole cinnamon sticks to the mixture.
  4. Drop in whole cloves for extra fragrance.
  5. Add fresh or dried orange peel strips.
  6. Place the saucepan on the stovetop.
  7. Heat the mixture until it just begins to steam and lightly bubble.
  8. Reduce heat to a low simmer.
  9. Allow the aroma to slowly fill the space.
  10. Stir occasionally to distribute fragrance.
  11. Add more water if the level reduces.
  12. Always check occasionally and add more water to prevent the pot from drying out.
  13. Continue simmering as desired for ambience.
