  1. Pour water into a saucepan and place it on the stove over medium heat.
  2. Add the rosemary sprigs, cinnamon sticks, and whole cloves into the water. Drop in the orange zest and lemon zest for a burst of citrus scent.
  3. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, watching as bubbles start to form and steam rises, filling the air with rich aromas.
  4. Reduce the heat slightly to keep the mixture gently bubbling without boiling aggressively, allowing the scents to develop fully.
  5. Let the mixture simmer for about 20 to 30 minutes, periodically adding more water as needed to keep it at the same level.
  6. Optional: For extra warmth, add a few drops of vanilla extract or more citrus zest to enhance the fragrant layers.
  7. Once the desired aroma is achieved, turn off the heat and carefully remove the herbs and spices if you wish to reuse or discard them.
