Welcome to FeastChase.com — your flavorful escape into the world of cooking, where every recipe is a new adventure and every meal tells a story.
I’m Mayank Sachdeva, the creator, cook, and writer behind this blog. My journey with food has been both personal and professional, rooted in a lifelong curiosity for flavours and the joy of bringing people together at the table.
I grew up in India, in a home where food was more than sustenance — it was a way of celebrating family, culture, and connection. I often found myself fascinated by how a simple dish could carry such strong emotions, spark conversations, and even bring comfort on difficult days.
This passion led me to pursue a formal education in Hotel Management in the United States. Leaving home was never easy, but I wanted to broaden my horizons, learn the science and art behind food, and see how global kitchens create their magic. The experience shaped me deeply — from understanding classical techniques to appreciating diverse culinary traditions.
After completing my course, I decided to settle in the US, where I continued exploring food not just as a profession, but as a personal calling. Over time, I realised that food is more than recipes and presentation — it’s about stories, cultures, and the memories that flavours carry with them.
